MacKenzie King were planning a complete rebrand of the business and a new website was a key part of the project. Their existing website was built in WordPress and didn’t give them the level of control they wanted over their content and layout. They also wanted to add a new portal to enable candidates to upload CVs and other documents to support job applications, integrated with Mackenzie King’s chosen CRM, Adapt. The job application process also needed to be improved to make it more user-friendly.
During our initial meetings with the team at MacKenzie King, it became clear that they needed a more flexible content management system that was also straightforward to use. After a demonstration of its capabilities, MacKenzie King agreed that our CMS, Doddle, fit the bill perfectly. We identified a number of areas where bespoke Doddle modules would be needed to simplify aspects such as job and candidate management.
We also analysed the capabilities of the Adapt CRM and its API to propose features that could be included in the new candidate portal.
Once the requirements were fully understood and agreed, wireframes were produced to map the site structure and functionality. It was then over to the brand designers at Studio Brand Up to produce the fantastic website design.
During the development, we engaged with the technical team at Adapt to provide support as we implemented the new portal features.
We were able to deliver the bright and vibrant new site that incorporated great new features to help candidates submit and manage their CVs and job applications. The site has been very well received by MacKenzie King’s clients and candidates.
Our customers love our content management system (CMS), Doddle. They say it's straightforward to use, intuitive and makes managing their websites straightforward and stress-free.
Doddle is modular, which means that as well as doing all the usual things you'd expect from a CMS, we can add new functionality that solves your unique challenges - all integrated seamlessly so you can manage everything in one place.
MacKenzie King had particular challenges with their existing WordPress site and needed more flexibility along with a range of new features to manage clients, candidates, job posts and the workflow around the application process. We were able to solve these issues using custom modules we built into Doddle.
