Lydia started with a Wix website that she had built herself. The original site served a purpose, but with SimpleClick joining Lydia as a partner, it was the optimum moment to redesign and rebuild a solution that showcased Lydia Walmsley Racing going into the 2024 season and beyond.
Mark and the team kicked off the project by reviewing the online offerings on current motorsport websites. Unlike many of her competitors, Lydia isn’t part of a multi-driver team; where this has its challenges, it also means Lydia has free rein of her brand.
Following competitor research and a branding review (based on the colours of the previous year’s car livery), key page wireframes were created. These wireframes, alongside collaboration with Lydia, ensured that the new website and structure kept on the racing line.
With the fundamentals in place, the team amalgamated the branding and wireframes to produce the website designs.
Onto the fun part, the development team then implemented these designs into SimpleClick’s Breeze builder Wordpress solution. Creating a strong, beautiful website for visitors, but also ensuring the website administration is clear and concise for adding content in the future.
An attractive website that showcases the skills and talent of Lydia Walmsley Racing that is easy to manage and provides flexibility to scale next season and beyond.
